When I first walked into the class on the first day of school I had used a camera a couple time before, but just to play around with.I barley knew how to use auto, let alone use it control it myself. I hadn't touched a digital camera in years, the only one i used was my parents old camera. I remember the first assignment we had to do was practice taking different styes of photos. I took a camera and went down the halls of the school looking or . something cool to take a photo of. I would try different angles and positions just trying to meet the criteria and figure out what looked best. Some of my worst work was probably from that assignment. My pictures and their quality have gotten so much better throughout the trimester. I have learned so much about taking pictures and all that goes into taking a good photo. I went from wandering and looking for photos that look cool, to began taking certain types of photos more and knew more of what looked good. I also started using photoshop a to elevate my photos a little more. There was some weeks where there was that one shoot that i really liked or weeks when I thought they were all good or not so good. It was interesting to experiment more with camera modes and lighting to get different natural effects and use photoshop to enhance them. These photos are me trying to take photos in different modes. Now, I look back on the trimester and can see to much i've learned over the trimester, from the shutter speed and aperture assignment to now just adjusting the camera t make the photo a good photo. There are many photos I look back on that i'm proud of and you can see a difference in the first few weeks. The last few photoshop assignment where we chose our own tutorial to follow and I saw how much I learned from just seeing new tools and how much I liked being able to portray certain effects. This class has taught me so much, it introduced me ti a whole different way to show my creativity. These are some of my favorite photoshop assignment we did: After lots of time in this class I can definitely tell you this is not "an easy A class" but if you put in time and effort you can definitely do well and thrive in this class. One thing that I have found helpful is to ask questions it never hurts to ask questions because most likely you will get a answer with more detail and clarification then you asked for. I'm am going to leave you with some of my favorite pictures/photo shops I have taken/edited this trimester.
