For this assignment I decided to focus on food, specifically brownies. I like brownies and sweets tend to look very appealing to take pictures of. For my second photo assignment, I learned that you should make sure that the resolution is good before you take lots of pictures so your pictures are not blurry. Also I learned that when you have a good background it draws more attention to the subjects.

In this assignment we used photoshop, for the first time, to make pop art using photos of ourselves and ones we've taken. I learned how to colorize in photoshop. I learned how to put an image on to a different photoshop canvas as a new layer. I also now know how to resize the canvas and change the hue of an image to make it a completely different color. All these things I didn't know how you could do in photoshop.
For my second photo assignment my focus is going to be food. My goal is to get better at adjusting the ISO and shutter speed to just the right combination so my picture is not grainy or washed out.
For this assignment we had to go out and take photos focussing on one type of photos for example food, people, events ect. For mine did animal and i took pictures of my cat. After completing this assignment, I have learned that for my photos that they need to have a clean and simple background. It was kind of hard t get him to do what I wanted to do but eventually I got him to do it.
For my first photo assignment I want to focus on Animal. I am hoping to work on getting better at capturing emotion and at moving subject in my photographs and adjusting shutter speeds in the camera. Here are some examples I found online that I might try and recreate: I like these examples because they show good examples of how I should focus on the subject(s). I plan on taking photos of my cat.
Shutter Speed I showed different shutter speeds and with lower shutter speed it's blurry but as i increased the shutter speed the photos became ore shaper. Aperture I was trying to show a larger depth of field with the lower apertures and a clearer foreground as the aperture increased because there was less light that passed through when the aperture number is larger. 1. Fast shutter speed means letting less light in which means less exposure. It is also used to freeze motion.
2. A slow shutter speed lets more light in meaning more exposure. It also adds more motion blur to the image 3.A large aperture results in a a small depth of field and a lighter exposure. 4. A small aperture results in a large depth of field and a darker exposure. In this assignment we learned how to use a camera properly to take good photos. A part of that was learning about photo composition such as colors, space, framing, ext. We took notes on each of the different category's to learn more about them. After we took the notes we went into the school to try and take the best photo for each of the different category's.
